Tips:

1. The human body has the ability to repair itself and continue to heal and recover after surgery. Your car cannot do this. Repairs must be complete and accurate when performed.

2. There is no substitute for factory-trained technicians using factory recommended tools and equipment.

3. Your car was originally a roll of sheet metal. The people who made it into a new car should determine how it gets repaired.

4. Always wear safety belts and wear them as directed by your owner’s manual.

5. Your “air bag” can be a pillow or a boxing glove. If it inflates fully before your face hits it, it’s a pillow. If the air bag inflates when your face is in the way the bag is a boxing glove. It will give you a severe punch. Remember this, a deploying air bag is an explosion in a bag. Keep the steering wheel (and air bag) as far from your face as possible.

6. Keep head restraints up. They are to be aligned with the back of your head, not the back of your neck.

7. Your car is much more controllable if the tire pressure is correct. Correct tire pressure can save your life in an emergency maneuver.

8. If the weather is too bad to wash your car, at least wash your windows, mirrors, headlamps and tail lamps.

9. Read your owner’s manual. You will appreciate your car more.
